Sue has a degree in French and is a solicitor. She joined Alchemy over twelve years ago having previously worked in private practice. As well as being Legal Counsel to Alchemy, Sue is responsible for issues relating to structure, formation and ongoing administration of Alchemy's three funds.

Sue is former Chairman of the British Private Equity and Venture Capital Association’s Legal and Technical Committee. She is governor of La Retraite School in South West London and a trustee of Merlin (a British medical charity providing healthcare in international emergency situations).
