Jock was a Senior Partner at Ernst & Young until 31 March 2009. He led the EY relationships with a number of major multinational clients, reporting to and advising the boards on a range of complex audits, financial restructurings and corporate transactions. He held a number of leadership positions, including Global Head of Industrial Products, covering Automotive, Aerospace and Defence, Engineering and Manufacturing. Jock is now developing a career as an independent director. He is Non-Executive Director of Oxford Instruments PLC, sits on the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (chairing the Qualification Board) and is a Trustee of Golden Lane Housing (the residential property arm of Mencap).
